Yes, you read correctly. People golf in the desert here! You might think it's pretty difficult to golf in the sand, but they've figured it out. Simply mix some sort of oil with the sand to make it smoother and carry around a patch of fake grass, and there you have it; sand golfing!!! Although this was my first time golfing (EVER) I was a pro...if 'pro' means making contact 90% of time and hitting the ball 1-3 feet in distance ;-)
